Heaven Is Home
Heaven is where man’s redemption lies.
What does the Earth have to offer? What good has the world to render us?
Is it the overflow of sin, pain, anxieties and uncertainties?
Let’s ask ourselves,
How many days or years does a man have to live on Earth?
Is it ten, twenty, forty?
Now we call even a 70, ‘The celebration of life.”
Mankind is indeed a pity!
We labour to gather abundance,
Chasing after fleeting fame and name.
We do all it takes to make Earth feel like “home”
Yet still, we are not at peace.
Our joy is never settled
Because we’re on a journey, yes
A journey back to where we were made – a journey back home…
The breath of man is from the Lord, the lord of the Heavens…
As for this body, many times we’ve read and heard
Even from the Genesis,
it’s been sung into our ears that
“Dust we are, Dust we shall return”,
And we’ve seen it before our very eyes, that it's true…
Yet, in this state of mortality
In our lowly state of humanity
We are promised Eternity.
The Adonai, the El-Shaddai, the Bright Morning Star
Comforts us with the assurance of a world above
He calls us home for an eternity with our Father.
He promises a seamless life without pain,
without sorrow and without death
A happy life without hatred and without an end.
We tell the story of how Jesus died, rose and ascended to the Father above.
For sure it is real,
The New Jerusalem is real in its splendor and glory,
For His words are faithful and ever true.
And up there in Heaven,
I tell you, lies our greatest hope!
“For if in this life only, we have hope in Christ, We are of all men the most miserable…”
(1st Corinthians 15:19)
There’s life beyond the Earth… beyond this globe, there’s surely life.
So, this is a message for you,
The Bride of Christ,
Prepare to meet your Bridegroom, in the sky,
To walk on those crystal waters,
To be in his presence
And to reign as Royalty with him till eternity. Because up there,
Indeed I tell you lies,our Greatest Hope…
Heaven is our home!
